Well I have an evoIX and the previous owner told me he got a reflash but I duno about the 2step... I just dynoed and was up around 320whp and 318tq and was told everyting was about right...

If I push my clutch in and rev up to redline but it just keeps on going not bouncing off, I would suspect that the 2step was deleted then?

This thread was very informative. Im going to get reflashed pretty soon. I just have to install my DP an LICP. Whats a good RPM to select the 2step???
I'll have a DP, AMS FMIC, DELETE PIPE, CAT BACK, AGENCY FILTER on my EVO.

5. floor gas(2nd step)
6. realse clutch til you feel it grab then dump it
7. drive it like you stole it.

If you suck at launching you'll either burn your clutch and have a nasty smell for a while or the drivetrain will exlpode.

happy launching!
and if you won´t do it the right way it will look like this:

too much wheel spin is not good as well.
You don´t need to get re-tune you can do it with 100% stock evo
but you will need new clutch soon and if you wont listen to point 6 new rear diff soon as well

happy starts

forgot:
on normal tires (like pirelli zero) it is good start 5200-5500rpm
on semislics 5500-6000
more is only waste of clutch and tires
and the time is almost the same, only more showstoper
