practicing standard tranny on an acura rsx

in a few weeks im gettin an 2002 acura rsx. but the thing is that im not too good with a standard tranny. ive driven a 93 accord once. and that went...ok...............

but do u think relearning what i already know on the acura will cause any problems like damage the drive train or transmission? or should i stick to getting better on older cars?

i hope you meant manual transmission when you say 'standard tranny'.. but anyway, i say you should keep practicing on old cars.. but you could always practice on new cars as long as you dont dump the clutch at high rpms, grind, or mis-shift.. but i've driven the rsx type-S and it is really REALLY easy to drive. although i did know how to drive stick prior to that, its still fairly easy. it seems like you cant stall at all as long as you're giving the car gas as you release the clutch. and plus, i wouldnt really worry about hondas.. they're built to last so just get it already..
