THANKS AL!!!!!!!!!
This is a awesome unit! Screw Greddy Profec B Spec II, the Hallman is Seriously awesome! It holds boost perfectly, no spiking, and smoother boost and powerband!
Dont waste money on hks evc V or any of those expensive units, your wrong! Trust me, switch over to Hallman EVO MBC and you'll never want anything more! I'm sure everyone on here that has the hallman can agree with this statement! The best part is after I swapped it out with my old EVC (which i had for a few months) it took only like 1 mile. Hands down a joke to tune, any one who can turn a radio knob can tune this bad boy. want to increase boost simply turn the knob, decrease boost same thing. The best part is it is all at the luxory of inside your car.
Al has been telling me to get the hallman MBC for a long time ever since we were beta testing his origional tunes. I didnt listen (I wish i had!) and got a greddy Profec B spec II. What a Pain in the @$$, tuneing took around 30min or more and you could never get it where you wanted. Now, I get boost where i want it not worrying about the gain, or set gain, or the other crap. Just turn a knob. You think HKS EVC V is awesome, well if you have money to throw away go ahead. The hallman is 160 compared to 500 (something), Why waste your money? It does the job it is suposed to exactly how it is suposed to.
Only took me 20 min to switch out my old EVC with the MBC and i should have went with the Hallman to begin with, simply swaped out the soleniod with the MBC valve. SIMPLE, and I also made almost $100 back on my old unit!
Thanks AL!! Next time I'll listen

Is it possible to set the hallman boost controller accurately without having a boost guage? I'd like to install a boost controller before I get a dynoflash, but I really don't want to mess with the interior (drilling, cutting etc.) if I can get away with it.
UNLESS, you want to borrow a boost gauge from someone and can just hold it down with your wiper blade and make some 2nd gear pulls and adjust the controller accordingly, then it will stay set at that boost level until you mess with it again.
actually a manual boost controller ofter requires slight adjustments with the change in temperature...humidity. That is why I got the hallman pro. I mounted it right under the steering wheel. I just cut the extension cord in half. I will take some pictures later and show you.
