Hey Al, Just wondering if you have some before data for your case studies?

I was looking at that 05' RS case study 20? that had just a boost controller and flash? Would be neat to see before and after dyno's for your case studies.

Just curious, we finally got into the boost on our new 05' RS (after break-in) and its seemed alot stronger than the 2 cars we previously drove? Feels like about 250hp at the wheels if I had to guess, Curious as to what your seeing there for stock runs on the 05's...

The boost spikes up to 1.6 bar stock, then at about 4000 rpms and up, its at about 1.2 bar. 1.6 bar is more than 20.3 psi if i did my math right? That would also explain why it seems faster...

 

I wonder if what you are describing comes from 2 places.

The first is the 10.5 turbo on the '05s. (I have yet to get my hands around what that means exactly).

The other is that I heard/read (don't remember) that has left out the one restrictor pill; the one
near the solenoid. This would help explain the higher boost levels, as that is what most folks saw when they
removed the pill.
