Dynoflash and emmissions testing?
you guys said that it would pass emissions and that sounds great, but if i put a mbc for boost, and a walbro 255 lph fuel pump, a greddy or injen cat-back, a greddy or hks bov, maybe a dp, and maybe an hks intake, and after i do all this a flash from dynoflash, what would void my warranty?
Anything you said on that list would technically void your warranty.. However what "Triggers" it for a particular dealer will depend on their experience with these cars and the customers that they have had in the past, even your relationship with them.
Until there's an AWD dyno for emission testing, its unlikely any of the emission tests performed on the car would be affected by the flash, or most of the hardware you would install (it would be an idle emission test, as long as your closed loop fuel control is working ok, then it will pass)
There is one exception, if you are not running a catalytic converter, or have an aftermarket cat and cams with alot of overlap, then you may find the car runs rich at idle and the cat may not be able to "clean it up" adequately..
Since I don't see a cat delete or aftermarket cat and cams in your list of mods, you shouldn't have trouble passing an emission test.
FWIW my car DOES pass the NYS emission test, it has a full buschur exhaust with a high flow cat.. However at the time it had a stock pump, injectors, and cams.. But it did have all the other typical bolt-ons, Intake pipe, intercooler pipes, intercooler, and UTEC and it passed with levels pretty much the same as stock..
Since the reflash doesn't usually make any changes to alter closed loop operation (AFR Target) if it passed before the reflash, it will pass afterwards..
