gonna get a dynoflash

hey whats up guys. well happy holidays to everyone first off. today i was suprised to find out my gf purchased me an HKS RS inake for my evo :-D, and a fuel pump, the fuel pump btw won't be here until tuesday/wed, then i will be getting a pay check so i can purchase a mail-in dynoflash, anyways i have a question if Al, or anyone can help, would it be ok to just hook up the intake? or should i wait for propoer tuning before i do that... i mean i can wait until i send the ECU so i can just install all the stuff while its gone, or should i let my impatient side kidk in and install that intake??? lol... oh btw, i was chatting with a fellow evom member, and we were talking about boost controllers, would anyone suggest one? or is it ok to not get one til around summer?

You can hook it up without having a tune, as for recommentations for boost controllers. It depends if you want manual or electrical, I myself just got an MBC. If you're going to get MBC I recommend getting the halman. I had my HKS RS intake on my car un-tuned for awhile and it was fine so don't worry about it.

al has good results w/ that intake,i would also recommend hallman MBC,im no expert but i thaught altitude was the only thing that would alter a set boost level (not tempature)good luck i know your gonna enjoy your flash, very cool gf too,MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I would suggest that you consider our sale which is running till the 30th - I am including a free Buschur Racing MBC with the flash $199.99 and you get the flash and the MBC that way you have both bases covered
