Al, I am getting a custom flash from you in March and may get cams later on this year. How will this affect my custom tune?

 

You ust ship me the ecu and I'll give you a free upgrade for your new mods

 

I didn't know if A/F's got affected by cams.

 

I change timing also. No worries all custom tuned customers get free upgrade base maps.

Of course it would be best to throw the cams in before I come so you can have it custom tuned with the cams !

I can even help you do it if you have a warm garage

 

I know I know, but $$$$$. I know I would get a better custom tune, but I am not totally set on buying cams. Your custom tune may be the last thing and then I am done............but who knows.

Oh, and I've got a carpeted garage!

 

BTW are you going to be flying out on the 4th of March to SLC?

 

There is without a dount a lot to be said for not touching the engine and leaving the valve train alone. In SOME cases we have seen noise issues arise after cams - but they are a very small minority.

I find that no matter how much power you make with your evo, after a while you get used to it and want more.

I am clearly not normal in this regard as I will not be happy until it goes 9.99 on street tires without nos.
