Dyno Flash Evo Lives !
Happy new year guys !
After the NHRA Fall Nationals I decided to take some time off from the Dyno Flash evo to re-focus my energies away from my racing over load of the summer in which I attended 15 racing events and drove myself to the point of exhuastion. I promised myself to work 100% of the time on Dyno Flash the business and improving customer relations and contacts.
Over the holidays I was able to find some time to work on the race car and R & R the head which had developed yet another crack in the exhuast port. For those of you porting your heads - do not go too large on the exhuast ports. (there is a coolant jacket in the roof of cyl # 1 which is very close to the port.
The head I was using at the last race was our very first head I experimented on and it was ported too thin in the exhuast port. After needig a back up head at the end of the season (after my oil pump went) I attempted to bring this head back to service at the last race of the year after a reweld job on the port. It was holding for a while but after one pass down it track it let loose again.
Tonight, I got to experience once again what 667 whp on a street car feels like.
I finally got everything back together and took it for a lap around the neighborhood. After 3 months to the day without my car I was really missing it and I can honestly say I do not remember it being that fast.
Anyone who questions the power of the Buschur mini battery kit should thing again as my car was sitting for 3 months and started right up like it was running yesterday with that great little battery.
Its good to have my baby back again, I have some minor maintenance items to attend to and then re-tq the head and I'll be headed back to the track next week if the weather holds.
In this weather I think I will pick up some serious power over what I was making in the hot summer air.

Good to here Al maybe we will see some more records coming and magazine covers. I just hope the next on will not be with an STI. I am also patiently awaiting the soon to be Buschur 20g/16g upgrade and your flash for it. It has gotten my really excited for my future plans of a bolt on turbo upgrade and with Dynoflash I dont think I could go wrong.
Best of luck
