about 05 flashes

OK, so i'm now hearing the dealer can tell if an 05 ecu was flahsed. what is different about the 05's that allow this? also, if i were to be flashed back to "stock" after a dynoflash, would they still be able to tell it was tampered with?

TIA.

No if its flashed back to stock they can not tell there is a flash in there - the variation is due to new 2005 OBDII capabilities

So the dealer can tell a flashed 05 car and cannot tell a flashed 03/04 car?
Im not talking about driving them.

Correct - ONLY ! 2005 OBDII provides a CVN number which can idenitify the softwear
