what rpm points are mapped out?

sorry, i didn't know a good way to title this...

for example, with dsmlink, you get tuning points for every 500rpm for fuel and timing, with 1% intervals on fuel, and 1deg timing points. only thing I didn't like is that it was only 2d, as you couldn't map for throttle position. the aem ems is 3d with 250rpm points.

how does the stock ecu map out as far as how fine you can tune?

Thanks!

Some points are 250 rpms apart and some are 500

Ign timing is a 20 x 19 map and fuel is 15 x 18

Yes of course - closed loop / open loop zones are TPS based as well as accel enrichment and decel also
