What does the ECU weigh?

i was looking at sending mine out and wanted to see what shipping would cost with insurance and all that? Does anyone know what it weighs in the box and all that...assuming it is packed beautifully.

weight with box and package less then 10 lbs

lol when I saw the title of this thread, I thought you wanted to reduce the weight of your car somehow by stripping out the ecu

The label on the FedEx medium size box that i shipped my ECU in says 2 pounds.

I was thinking something in that range too. So maybe 4lbs at the very most. How well did you package it?

Pretty good. I filled the box with bubble wrap around the ECU.
