Dyno tales of two turbos
Just for kicks I decided to compare Kuba23's Greddy Turbo kit with pump gas and alcohol to another member's stock turbo car with similar mods and pump gas and alcohol from today
Which car would YOU prefer to drive ?
(The stock turbo seems more enjoyable to me - but you can't beat the Greddy's top end kick)

Now this is a good example for the low end torque crowd to ponder. I'll rev it to get it Al. Once that Greddy is wound up in first its bye bye baby to the stock turbo car. If I wanted a daily driver I would have an M3.

Is that a fair comparison of low end spool-up? It looks like the pull starts later on the bigger turbo and exagerrates the difference in spool-up. Would the spool-up point be the same if the bigger turbo dyno run was also started around 2700 rpm?
That little of a difference in start time will not affect alter when those larger turbos come into boost.
I played a little with this during my first dyno session w/ the 3076.

Al thanks for posting this, very interesting stuff.
Looks like the stocker makes about 150 more hp at 4k, where as the greddy makes about 100 more hp at 7.5k. It's cool to see the 2 extremes being posted together like this.
Personally if I had to choose, I think I would want something in the middle. Right now I am leaning towards a br440 which I think is a gt28r but I could be mistaken. I think a 3071 would also fit the bill. Can anyone recommend any other turbos in between the ones above?
Al do you have a br440 w/alc dyno sheet from that dyno? I couldn't find one on your website or searching evom.

after searching around a little, I did find this br440 on 100octane, br stage 4. It looks to be right smack in the middle of the other 2 posted above. Maybe it would perform even better with the alky?

The 3076 I posted above is a full Buschur kit with the same cast manifold as the br400 kit
In fact this customer upgraded from the 440 to the BR 3076 kit
