90% of dynos don't read accurately compared to the road - in fact often it takes me some time to become aquainted with a particular dyno and how it may vary from others. I found over time that I could obtain better results just tuning on the road. A expecption of this is the Mustang dyno which I particularly like and also the Pruven Dyno Jet which I have hundreds and hundreds of hours of experience on.

Another factor is the cost - I like to tune at least 1.5 - 2 hours per car and paying a dyno shop by the hour can get costly.

On this trip I wold suggest we stick with road tuning.

Shortly I will post up a time list for people to pick times

Thanks a lot for the input, Al. Street tune works for me as I suddenly dont have a whole of money left after buying my Evo! I'm ready to get tuned, all I need is to do the fuel pump and downpipe, but I'll be sure to get those this week sometime. Well guys, it looks like we really need to find a good public road or big parking lot... Everyone, just start throwing out suggestions and we'll go from there. We can discuss it at the next meet too.

Okay sounds like we have two suggestions so far!

1. Monroeville- penn hills. I have a few questions about this location? does someone have a place to actually meet at? or are you thinking just in a parking lot? I know penn hills gets really busy at rush hour. I do like the strech or road but, it might not be great to be buzzing back and forth for 10 hours. on the same road. Are there any more secluded road right around there? I really don't remember any but its beeen some time since i've worked in that area.

2. Wexford exit off 79. This is my Auto parts store, which has a nice secluded parking lot. Is private. Has some hwy driving right there, its the strecch between Wexford and warendale if you guys no that. That i would say is about the same as monroeville. Either way rush hour is bad. The only difference is that there are plenty of back road around there to drive on that make great loops. and are very safe.

well lets all try and figure this out soon. Any other ideas are greatly appreiciated! Im not trying to push my location, As im fine with going anywere.

#2 sounds great to me! I know that area pretty well, you can go up 79 or RT19, plenty of good back roads!

Actually the wexford location is about the best! There are lots of nice roads to choose from, we wouldn't even need to use the same road for all the test runs! I vote for Wexford!

Damn, that's a shot away for steelcityevo and me... But it seems the majority of you guys are out that way, so whatever we decide is fine.
