12.2 @111 Update with Video!

Ok people, again an update on my Dynoflash EVO8 2005 GSR

1.64 60ft
12.2 @111
C16 @24 psi because I forgot to turn up the boost

second pass with boost at 26 psi
1.77 60ft (tires spun like hell still managed to go forward)
12.4 @111

I improved my personal best ever with my Subaru and also now I have the record in PR for the best 60ft on an EVO.

Al you tha man bro, we need to get in touch for options on maximing or upgrading my setup staying with the stock turbo.

Thumbs up

not a bad run at all. just so you know, VP also sells 109 octane unleaded too. works good & will keep you from replacing O2 sensors. i run 25PSI on 101 octane unleaded all the time. looking at your MPH, your car is moving!

The only way I know how to launch, rev up between 5.5K and 6.5K and slip the clutch. Tire pressure is at 29 psi, tires spin the necessary not a lot more than needed.

Thanks man, yeah 11's are right there I can smell them.

Im looking at a huge reasearch Im doing to add some mods to my car that make me go into the 11's without using NOS or changing my stock turbo. and maybe running only 24 psi steady (like using an external wastegate), stock O2 housing ported, headstuds and HKS head gasket, dunno we will see what I will do, maybe add 272 cams for more top end mph, I did run the 1/8 mile at 7.83 and that is insane.

I will find a video Im supposed to get tonight that is taken right from the staging lanes so you can see how the car jumps out of that green light. You will love it, trust me, I did When I got my slip I started screaming like a maniac and was hella damn impressed.

Way to go man !

I think the car has an 11 second pass in it on high boost if you can get decent traction

Congrats on the great 60'!

Remember your tune is a DUAL STAGE tune with pump gas and race gas settings

If you converted to an alochol injection kit we could make your tune more agressive and you would retain full power every day on pump gas (no more need for race gas)

Also - the alcohol acts as an additional intercooler - which is critical in that heat

al, what do mean duel stage tune? is this programed into the ecu so no hard switch is needed? im still waiting for my GSC 272/272's to get in so i can send my ecu back for a update. Im interested in this duel stage set up.

Yes its all programed in the ecu no switch required, (other than raising and lowering the boost)
