We put down 275HP/300 ft. lbs. Torque on the 4wd Mustang Dyno. This was using the manual boost controller from Buschur spiking at 23.5 PSI and leveling off to 19.5 PSI on 93 Octane with Buschur Stage 2 with HKS 264 cams and Walbro 255 fuel pump. The numbers seem a bit low to me so we'll see how everything turns out after a custom tune from Al.

To give you an idea my car dyno'd 218HP/238Torque on the same dyno with just a drop in K&N and the Hyperground Wiring kit.

Every once in a while I am tripping a p0401 EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) CEL...not sure why because everything seems to be in order with the EGR system and I only have 7000 miles on my MR.

Possibly a fuel/timing issue causing excessive readings from the EGR from what I have been reading. I guess the EGR expects a certain range of emissions from what I have been reading.
Yea, this new mustang must read very low. You should be getting more than a 57 hp gain from stage 2 w/ cams though. I'll be interesting to see how this works out for all of us.

Kayyoevo8, AL usually just does the base flashes before the custom tunes, so if you can just bring 175 i think Al will do the flash. The deposit was just to get a spot before the custom tune guys. See you guys Friday and Sat.

I will definitely be there on Saturday - and pushing to get more Evos out the track with us! http://findtheline.com/ is a new MN based club that's busy booking track days and doing events with other local track groups.

I'm also waiting on a call-back from Al. I have a couple of questions for him.

The Mustang Dyno at RS Motors does read lower than other brands. The MN 3/S group had a Dyno day there back in April. I got 266awhp, 288 torque on my 95 Stealth. A couple of near stock 3/Ses got around 230awhp. With the mods I had and based on others experience, I would of expected to have about 30 or so more awhp.

But thats o.k that it reads low, as long as its consistant.

See some of you on Saturday,
Curt

The other thing to consider is the following -

Dynojet reads 1/2 of the driveline, meaning that it's not picking up the other 12-15% driveline loss like on a Mustang and because it doesn't simulate a load in the same manner as a Mustang 4wd dyno the Dynojet dyno's read about 10-12% higher because of this.

If I calculate all of this out then my MR on a Dynojet should be putting another 22-25% onto the numbers which would give me around 335-350HP.

So what do I believe?

Believe the difference between the "before" and "after" - on the same dyno.

Hey got back from the meet, only met some of the EVO owners but it was great. AL thanks for the base flash, even though you were busy as heck.
