Lost power after exhaust switch to buschur?
Lost power after exhaust switch to buschur?
Al, when I received a custom tune last may, you suggested I get a different exhaust from what I had before for a number of reasons. I recently installed the buschur exhaust and took it for a spin. I got on the free way, put it in fourth and it felt like I was standing still. I went home and checked for exhaust leaks or anything else I thought could be a problem, but found nothing. Maybe it was just me being paranoid, but I wanted to know from your experience if there could be a reason why I would have less power. Anyone else is welcome to post comments as well.

hmm.... I gained 25whp from stock to Buschur 3"TBE. Maybe it pulls smoother and therefore seems like not as much of a "rush"
I hate to suggest wasting money, but if you really want to know, then the only way is to either dyno it or do some 3rd gear pulls vs. someone whose HP you already know...
