Lost power after exhaust switch to buschur?

Al, when I received a custom tune last may, you suggested I get a different exhaust from what I had before for a number of reasons. I recently installed the buschur exhaust and took it for a spin. I got on the free way, put it in fourth and it felt like I was standing still. I went home and checked for exhaust leaks or anything else I thought could be a problem, but found nothing. Maybe it was just me being paranoid, but I wanted to know from your experience if there could be a reason why I would have less power. Anyone else is welcome to post comments as well.

Have you dyno'ed or timed yourself to see if there is really a power loss or is it just a feeling?? I don't trust Butt Dynos.

Did you reset your ecu? Also, manytimes when you relieve alot of back pressure, you may experience a little loss of torque but gain in HP.

hmm.... I gained 25whp from stock to Buschur 3"TBE. Maybe it pulls smoother and therefore seems like not as much of a "rush" I hate to suggest wasting money, but if you really want to know, then the only way is to either dyno it or do some 3rd gear pulls vs. someone whose HP you already know...

I was using the Injen. I liked the exhaust, but I had a friend that was looking for a new exhaust so I just sold it to him to try the buschur. The Buschur is much more strait!

I would have liked to dyno before and after, but I just couldn't justify 240$ for the little experiment.
