Walbro Fuel Pump Advisory - #156
I know I have said this 1000 times already - but - it seems I need to say it again as yesterday we ran accross yet another failing stock pump and a disapointed customer who could not get tuned
The stock pump has proven to fail (infrequently - but in a significant enough percentage that I have seen it happen about 10 times thus far) in such a way that the car starts to lean out without warning
This creates a very dangerous a/f and operating condition which can lead to serious engine damage
I strongly recoemend that EVERYONE who is going to purchase my through the mail flash or custom tunes have the Walbro upgraded fuel pump255 lph - pump # 342 installed as a saftey measure
I have not seem any walbro pumps yet fail in my past two years of evo tuning
