I've pm'd Al twice and had another post on this board; still no response to any of them. Does anyone know how much difference the flash makes with a 1 octane difference? How much power difference is there from 93 octane to 92 octane? Again I have Buschur 3 in turbo back and Buschur air intake.

 

prolly not much with mods that light. get some cams, boost controller, etc and it may possibly make a difference...

 

Alcohol or even water injection will negate any slight difference in octane.

 

Higher octane will just allow you to run more boost and have a more aggresive tune.

 

93 - 92 0ctane is about 8 - 10 whp differnce in my tuning

Realistically - there is much more variations between claimed "93" octane fuels

My advice is find a place that sells lots of fuel and seems reputable. If your cars runs god on that gas try and stick with it.

Sunnoco, 76 and BP seem to be the best

Cosco, Quick trip and Holiday are the worst
