What am I looking at for cost of the retune and when will the dyno be ready?
I've asked a friend if he's available to drive my car down the week prior to the shootout. What date specifically should I tell him.

[quote]The only thing i have changed within the last month are my rims. The rims might weigh the same but the tires probably weigh a lot more and it would definitely slow you down some. Have you found out anything on your car yet?

The best I could get with all the supporting mods was a 12.8@106 with a 1.75/60'. Al instructed to change the plugs (gap them to 24) do a compression and boost leak test. Did everything he said and no change. The car does miss in the upper RPM's at full throttle, I also got a code on the EGR. After all was said and done I think the problem was with a bad o-ring on the injector. Most likely the tune was done with the bad o-ring. Al said this could be the problem and needed to be retuned. Even though I would get charged again that wasn't a problem, I just wanted the car fixed and running strong. I ended up missing him at the shootout due to military duties (getting the shaft at work) so no retune.
I plan on haveing the car brought up to Bushcur and have them check everything out and then tune it with AEM EMS. So hopefully all goes well and I get the power the car is supposed to make.
Thanks for trying to help out Al
I know you said the car didn't feel as strong as the others after you tuned with the alky. We'll see what happens with the AEM EMS, that is unless you are in Ohio in Sept.

Dave appears to have found the problem of my lost power. The jet nozzel from the alky was spraying to much and bogging the engine. It was losing hp on the dyno when it sprayed. Just thought I'd let you know.
