Questions for Big Al

Hey, I finally decided to get the flash first to increase power immediatley and then re-flash later when my turbo setup is finalized .

I have a few questions like:

1) the flash conrolled boost eliminates the need for an MBC, but will it hold psi strong like an MBC over 25-28psi?

2) I am currently running 104 and would like the tune to be for this octane. What Psi would you set it to going with the through the mail flash?

3) with my mods being very simple ( TB, FP, & Flash) tuned on 104 oct will I be able to hit over 300AWHP?

4) will the Ignition need upgrading due to my octane ? Is all this pointless becuase the stock turbo cant hold this amount of boost? what are some steps I can take to hold boost andn reduce taper?

Slow down grasshopper, I ran 110 leaded fuel in my car for 25K miles, no need for different ignition. My boost was steady at 25psi no taper, but LOWERED it to 22 psi, as this is the SWEET spot for the stock turbo. you can get the higher boost numbers, but the damn turbo is so out of breath, it is INEFFICIENT! If you dyno on 104, you stay on 104 always, as the burn characteristics are different for the different fuels (leaded/unleaded) Dont get hung up on the dyno #'s either, there is a dyno out there that will get you your 300AWHP, but its a number and changes up or down on each different dyno.
Al will get you what you want, be patient, and dont jump around to different tuners/shops as the pile of parts you accumulate, may not work good together! Buy an alky kit from AL! and lwt him "tweak" your car on a dyno, you will be happy for sure!

What I mean by Ignition is some are saying that the stock ignition is faulty passed a certain boost limit. when increasing the boost, one would assume that if the stock ignition can't handle it, upgrade it.

Also I thought the stock turbo was More than fine upto 25 psi? I thought it was the stock ignition system couldn't keep up . Hmmm.

I could care less about the "numbers" I am more interested with the performance that usually comes with those numbers.

I held consistantly 25psi, no spike, no taper. And I took my computer guru friend with his laptop around Indy (I-465) and we messed with the boost tables, and it seemed far "quicker" by the seat of the pants measurement, with the boost LOWERED to 22 psi. Call Al, and ask him when the ignition needs to be upgraded, he has the answers. Here is another tip from uncle smoked, stick with ONE tuner (Al is excellent!) and dont stray and shop around for answers from the others, as you will get many differing opinions, and it will do nothing but CONFUSE you!!!!!!! I learned the hard way, and bought way too many parts that I didn't need. Al knows what works with what component etc, same with AMS/Bushur/Vishnu. Stay the course with one shop, you'll thank me in the long run, and your wallet will thank you in the short run!
I haven't heard the ignition "runs out of gas", I thought it was the compressor wheel in the turbo, again, Ask Al! wait a minute, doesnt this thread start out with: A Question for Al? I thought it said a Question for ALL. sorry bro. I will help you if I can

NO - YOU NEED A MBC

YOU WOULD SET YOUR BOOTS WITH THE MBC

WITH PROPER BOOST IT WILL BE EASY

DONT NEED IGITION

10.5 hot side is good
