This needs to be cleared up publicly

Al,

I apologize in advance to you and the rest of the readers for making one more (and final) post about this, but I feel that I have to clear the air and state the facts on this issue.

I will reply seperately to your comments:

I dont sell any remote Hallman MBC's - only the pro - maybe that is the issue.
No, the issue is the fact that you don't reply to PM's. After I made the first public post about the issue, you closed the thread and replied to me that you would be okay with applying my deposit to a MBC, and to reply back with my address. I did that, almost 6 weeks ago, and never heard anything back from you. I then sent you 2 more PM's over the last 4 weeks which were never even read by you.

Also - let me just rehash my deposit policy for you so you know

Deposits for custom tuning appointments are NON REFUNDABLE - that is why I take a deposit - becuase I am spending usually $1000 in air fare, hotels, rental cars and parking at the airport - and a weekend away from my family. I take the deposit so I know pepople are serious.
I can accept and understand that. However, had you told me that I would not be allowed to apply it to an MBC, I would probably have gone away, but that is not what happened. You said no problem, and it has now been weeks that I have been trying to get this resolved- either applied to a MBC or refunded if possible.

You chose to cancel your appointment - this after being very tough about getting your chosen time slot.
This is simply not true. After paying my deposit, your trip filled up before I could get a slot. That is much different than taking a spot and then dropping it. Then, after I asked for a refund or MBC, you started opening up extra slots on Friday night and Sunday afternoon. I replied to a thread asking for the next one available, and you kept giving them to others that had replied after me. Finally, when someone *else* said would you give this guy a slot, he's been asking for weeks, you gave me the a Sunday spot of 2 to 4 I believe. I was very grateful, but unfortunately after the inital spots were taken up, I let my wife know that I wasn't going to Chicago that weekend, and she wound up making plans. It was only after that point in time that you started opening slots. So while I agree with your no-refund policy, I think my situation was unique since the slots were filled after my deposit was paid. In addition, you filled my spot the exact same minute of the day that I let you know I could not use it.

As an accomidation to you I agreed to let you purchase a MBC and use the deposit to the MBC - BUT - I dont sell the MBC which you want.
This would have been nice to know, 4 to 6 weeks ago. After your inital offer to apply my refund to a MBC, I mentioned I would like a remote one, but also asked for your opinion on which one to get. I would not have been picky. Unfortunately, you never replied to me until today, after three unanswered PM's and it finally took a public post.

I ask anyone who is interested to please read the following threads in their entirety:

I hope this doesn't **** you off Al, as I certainly still want to use your services. Really $75 is not a big deal- I just wanted to get this squared away one way or another as I hate leaving open issues. I know doing what you do takes a lot of time and sacrifice(I hate to travel for work myself), but you do use this forum as well as the PM's to advertise and sell a service. The least you could do is reply to your customers, especially when money has already been involved. Thanks for your time.

Long and short of this is this is both race season for myself and my customers and business is booming too much for one guy to handle. In addition I am writing several magazine articles and testing which takes up any spare time. I am trying my best to keep up with demand and service everyone in a reasonable manner.

If you want a Hallman MBC PRO ($84.99) - pay pal the remaining $10 to cover the cost and I will ship out asap - please indicate which color you want.

Please stop making these posts and instead just call me on the phone if you need futre contact
