Is a 50/50 mix of 93/105 octane (VP109) sufficient for 24psi (falling to 20.5) on a custom Dynoflash, K&N drop in and 3" cat back or would I benefit from running 100% VP109 (or as close as I can get).

I believe too high of an octane with out enough compression will not add any power and could actually hurt power.

Al what have your experiences been? Anyone else?

Also, should the ECU be reset?


I tested this and the 90% did not help. 50/50 is sufficient. Also, resetting the ECU did not make a difference.
