Scorke

Got home 4 hrs ago and felt a sleep at the door step ...

The car is a joy to drive on the way back but suddenly I got a boost leak (I will fix tonight)

The ATP kit had no cams on that dyno sheet so the compare is not apples to apples.

ATP does make power period but you loose TRQ for sure.

If anyone has any questions please pm me.

Thanks

Tell me about it. The car drove like no other for 1 hr then I was mashing the gas and I saw only 15 psi going down to 12 psi. I stopped and started looking with no luck. I know it’s a boost leak somewhere. I just spent couple hrs trying to find it with no luck ...

I think it’s one of the hoses behind the intake manifold but they all looked good, still their are a million of them in the back there.

I am still looking as type.

Could it be a faulty WG by any chance? or my mbc died?

Well, 6~10 psi of boost loss is huge and there is no way on earth it could be something that my rabbit ears can't hear.

I checked every hose in my car and they all seem ok. I cant run a boost leak test as I don’t have an air compressor.

I am thinking that the mbc hoses are cut or the mbc has a problem. I have another one that I will give a quick trytomorrow. If it does not work I will connect the hose from the turbo WG to the under pipe directly to test my WG (highly doubt faulty WG though).

After that I will run with no line between the WG and the turbo (I know it should boost too high as the WG should NOT open at this case) but I will keep my eyes on the boost and that will be the ultimate WG test.

If anyone comes across any idea please let me know.

Thanks

So had this car had the cams with the ATP kit, there would be no comparison.
Not to mention 344whp is pretty impressive with only a 3071 & exhaust.

He had no cams in with the 3071 which would make a 20-30 hp difference.
Never the less the power is nice with quicker spool up.
