Unhappy AL Help please!!!

Hello,

I came up last month from NC and got my car flashed, and it was awesome. Then 2 days later it started running rich and losing boost on the top end, but only at WOT I can hold boost @ 20psi at ALMOST wot and it doesnt drop any but at wot it peaks to 22 and drops to 17-18. I went yesterday and checked every possible vaccum hose and tightened all my IC pipes and even put on a different boost controller and it worked fine for about a day and now im back to losing boos but just not as badly. Can u tell me what is causing this... I know its not my BOV cuz i swapped several out and it still did it... do u think the mbc's im using arent strong enuff. I got one off ebay but I have plenty of evo/wrx/srt4 guys that says they are just fine for them. Please try to give me options to check. I thought it could be a head gasket or ring, but there are no signs... no black smoke or running hot, so I dunno... I would appreciate the help... thanks

Justin Moore

Boost leak test needs to be done with a pressurized fitting to apply 20 or so psi to see if the pressure holds or not - visual inspection of hoses will miss many leaks
This kind of test will also identify leaking bovs
