question about a reflash for 272's

this is for al or anyone who might know. i want to get the 272's installed in my car

but the guy thats doing it lives about 3 1/2 hours away. my question is, should i

get my ecu reflashed by al for the 272's then drive up there and get them

installed or should i get them installed, drive back, then send my ecu in for a

reflash? right now all i have is the boost controller flash for when the car had no

mods. now i have a 3" tbe w/test pipe, k&n drop in and jdm mr bov. before i take

the car up to get the 272's installed, i'm goin to install my walbro 255 fuel pump i

have sitting in the garage. most people are telling me to get the reflash for all my

mods, then drive to get the 272's installed.

I would like to know this as well. I have the 272's w/ a fuel pump in transit now. I will have them installed wed of next week and then i will send my ecu off to be flashed. Is this the best way to do it?

Seriously I just had 272's installed with a TBE also added. Drove around for awhile on it (300 miles or so to pittsburgh) but it drove just fine. You'll be surprised how well Al will make it run though.

Just perfect.
