pink o2 sensor? race fuel? dynoflash?

my 02 sensor got replaced, and the dealer said....

"the tech noticed the 02 sensor was pink, have you been running octane boost or racing fuel through it?".

which i haven't.....I don't even have a boost guage or boost controller or even an exhaust. My car is totally stock except for the dynoflash and a hks airfilter that i ran for a month.

is Pink 02 normal? or is that something related to the dynoflash?

Techs got a bullitin from Mitsu last summer to watch for the usage of leaded racing gas or additives identifiable by red or pink deposits . They were trying to get out of paying for your O2 sensor.

21k miles....about 10-12 of those with dynoflash and the other stock.

They paid under warranty but actually wrote it on my freaking receipt to ask me about the racing fuel....which I have never used.....i think one time about a year ago i put some octane boost in it when i did an auto-x.

It's the gas you are running. I forget which company it is but one of them causes that.

Yep, like timzcat said its any of the many additives that gas companies put in their product. Any octane booster or injector cleaner will also leave a coating that may in fact not come off easily.
