Al,

You can't please everyone all the time, but I know you had the week from hell Everyone's got to understand that Al is a one-man-show moving at the speed of light. He does 99.9% of the work on his car by himself, he travels like a madman and he still has the time to do this 'dynoflash' thing I think I've heard of a few times in hushed whisper. I can understand a lot of people might think that since Al is on top, let's root for the underdog, but take a look and see... Al is the underdog. He doesn't have a pit crew, a tuning guru at his side, a covered transport or even a driver to help him on those long road trips. You look at Al's setup and there are many things there that any one of us here can do and while the rest of us are here with our mouths hung open, Al's out there doing it 24/7/365. I give a tremendous amount of respect to Al. He is the embodiment of what true love of the sport is all about. Even Babe Ruth didn't hit a homer every time he got up to plate, but the crowds roared, either with cheers of approval or jeers of hate, but either which way, the crowd went nuts everytime he went to swing. Al, a HUGE congratulations to you for your making it to the finals and being the Evo that made it to step up to bat for the home team. It's only the 7th inning stretch the way I see it.

Couldnt of said it better myself. It was a really good try bro. You were working real hard all day. That race was real close at the end and i thought you were gonna catch him. I Had fun turning on your laughing gas for you. When i was walking back to the stands i was thinking to myself, if al wins do i get a free tune for helping him win or if he loses is he gonna blame me....

Dont worry about the loss. We will get them next time.

I think Al does a great job. That being said, I think he promotes himself and pats himself on the back WAY too much on these forums.

If Al were humble he would probably have 10x the fans, that being said, he is who he is and is obviously not scared to show it. Props for being real =p

Great driving on Saturday, it was the first time I'd ever seen your car run in person.

Once again congrats Al, I said it to you in person while you were packing up the trailer... And like you told me before that you feel like you should retire you def. should not... This loss should just make you try harder... Can't leave it to us young ones... Yeah BV got the win but that was because they were at the right place at the right time, all the Evo's had to eliminate themselves, and you were messing with your tune that day, BV was already ready.

Nothing at all against Al, but how is this post any better than you, Randy, just posting to congratulate him? Why are you blaming people for something? Nothing against you either, I just don't like people placing blame because they assume somebody knew the race results, didn't like Al, and didn't post because of their feelings.

I didn't post a congratulations because I didn't know the outcome. Again, nothing against you, I just don't like it when people blame others when they could set a good example instead.

I also don't like all this vendor bashing. I think it has gone to far. I wish people would just stick to the facts and stop flinging accusations left and right.

There. I'm done.

Actually I wasnt blaming anyone I just was like HELLO people Al got the runner up and I see everyone on other forums talking about the event but all the cars that represented the evom family were kinda left behind, those guys in NASIOC are really something, bashing and trashing the EVO's wish I lived in the US and got my EVO there, I would woop some of those all talk no walk STI owners, Al deserves our support after all every time we bother him at different times (without us knowing lol) he tries to help us any way he can. And dont worry I dont it it personal, I understand your point, maybe I was a bit harsh heheh. Have fun! And enjoy your EVO.

PS: On a second note, you are right about the Vendor bashing, I see it as completely unnecesary, we all learn something from different set ups, thats why vendors are different, some run NOS other dont, thats it, we all learn, Vendors should know better and leave the bashing for the race track to see who's faster and thats it.

Take care
