Well, what I'm hearing at the dealership is that the original customer that they were going to fly Al out for needs his car completed by the 31st? If Al can't do it by then ... I don't know that he'll be coming at all?

I've seen other posts, Al - can you update this thread even if it's "I don't have any info yet"?

I've spent a LOT on mods the past 2 weeks in anticipation of a tune. I'll have to get an off-the-shelf P2 update from Works and have the car down 3 days (regardless of who's off-the-shelf tune I get) and never feel a Dynoflash ...

I did the WORKS P2R while they were here at MOD. I definately like the additional power, not to mention the car was down for like 10 mins, LOL.

The 6000 2-step feature kicks *** as well!

I don't think the trip to tune the car at the dealership is going tp happend due to the high cost of short notice air fare into that area

I do however have the weekend of the 19th open and I could get myself out that way for a tuning day if we have 5 people who are interested

I am talking about 2 hour custom tuned reflashes with full 10 channel data logging print outs of all vital engine functions, knock, boost, 02, G force etc

With 5 guys the price will be $350 per custom tune

If we have the interest I can get there are we can make this happen

For those who are inpateint you can get my through the mail base flash for $199 and I will throw in free fed ex for anyone in this area who has been delayed

Thanks

Al,
Check the prices into Moline, IL. Usually pretty reasonable. I can guarantee one spot if you come there Can anyone else make it to the Quad Cities?

Al,

I'm in, let me know if you need a ride from O'Hare Field or Midway. I should have the alky system in by then if you shipped it this week.

flying into peoria can be a pain and expensive. Bloomington/normal airport and the quad cities are great options and not a bad drive from peoria. Just to let you know.

19th? of November?

This thing's runnin' like crap at idle, etc. with the new intake, cams, etc. Since it's been running a couple of days it now only comes close to dying at abrupt lift but isn't - an improvement since the ECU's been learning I guess. If it's manageable I'll wait - I'll make up my mind by the time you have something firm Al, thanks.

the 19th itself is no longer an opition

If there is sufficent interest, I may be able to get there a few days before

Lets have a roll call of who is seriously interested so we can see if its feasable

How close do you have an off-the-shelf for this, Al?

I was going to have you custom flash over my Works P2 designed really for just a 3"TBE. I knew it must have some room because of how rich she still seemed to be running. Obviously I can send the thing off to Works as well. Without a custom tune, frankly, I'm not positive it's worth it anymore. Sorry, just being candid. Your thoughts?
