mail in v3 flash question

I had a mail in flash by you about 3 or 4 months ago and all I could say was "HOLY CRAP" did the car pull so much better and smoother. but lately, i think after installing an after market BOV i am spiking to about 25 psi, and it'll drop to about 18.. i am running 93 octane and have not really had any problems with it. it's been doing it for about 2 months. but i'm just afriad it's slowly causing damage. i ordered an MBC to maybe get it from spiking to high, would this resolve the issue? i haven't installe dit yet and it's a bit harder than i expected so i wasn't sure. if you don't think spiking that high is too big of a concern i guess i can live with it. thanks

I doubt the bost would go that high with the V3 boost controlling flash - I would check your gauage against another one to verify that its accurate

good idea - check all your lines - it should stop at 21 max with the V3 flash

well. I have a defi boost gauge, there's a good chance that it is reading hi? i've heard they tend to read a bit high but still it's got me worried. it tapers off to 18 ish where it should but it seems to SPIKE wayyy high. possibly it's just spiking in accurately? i don't have any other boost gauge to be able to verify it with..

and by lines do you mean lines dealing with turbo? i haven't messed with anything, and what i have touched i've put back just as tightly as before

but no i believe u, i'm just somewhat worried. which i guess is understandable

If you need any help with a MBC let me know. Or just to check you regular lines.

To me it sounds like your defi gauge is off - test another gauge and see

mike (myevoviii) helped me. I can not give enough thanks to the man, he led me through the whole thing and let me borrow a bunch of knick knack hoses and parts and screws. works great and he even helped me redo my boost gauge. i owe him big time.

and thanks al for the support, i'll probably be getting a full tune from you some time

im pretty sure it was, bc once mike redid the vac hoses for it (was behind solenoid before) now before and it seems to be boosting alot more accurate bc he was getttin up to 1.7-1.9 bars on the gauge and once mbc is on and turned up a good bit its around 1.5 so i think the gauge was reading wrong
