Thank you phillyevo - I am interested to see what Mr. Evo 8 power has to say about this - but since he is banned from the forums it may be difficult for him to offer his two cents
In any event there is a seperate thread he started on this in the drag racing section
Pending additional investigation - I would say that the $1500 prize will remain in my pocket and is still up for grabs
31psi + GT35R on a Walboro 255 Fuel pump.........i don't think that is possible or its VERY close to the edge of insanity I would imagine. That fuel pump has got to be working extra hard. Was this setup dyno'd before hitting the track?
Wooo..hoo Dont believe me..look my acct. its DISABLED!!!

I believe him, why because he really has no place to lie about it. I'm not sure how many remember this, but Kevin a while back was the joke of the evom.net forum. He talked so much trash and couldn't back any of it up. He would go through flashes like toilet paper and ran so many different types of setups I lost count. All of this was in an attempt to run 11s, and for some reason he just could not crack the 11s. Even with over 450WHP, he could not crack 11s. Even with 122mph trap speeds, he could not crack 11s. He became the joke of the forums, and was labled perhaps the worst EVO driver on the forums. If there was a time for him to lie about what he was running it would have been then. Like I said Kevin talked a lot of trash and was obsessed with running 11s, but he never did, and never lied about it too. He accepted his fate at the time and took the jokes about his bad driving. My point is, he could have easily lied way back then, when everybody considered him joke, but he never did. So why would he lie now? It's a shame that he has been banned and can not defend his times, but that's Kevin for you. He could have created a post explaining his run in detail, but he chose to start his thread by talking trash, and once again he got banned.

if he couldn't even run 11s with all the mods he paid for before, how can you realistically believe he ran 10s in the rain.

i'm holding out until i see a slip or video.
alright guys, i just talked to Kevin on AIM. here are all the details from our conversation:
1) Kevin made a mistake in his post, he ran that pass the week before. this week he was in Boston.
2) he doesn't have any video of the pass but he is going to run this weekend again (iif weather permits) and have a video as well as a time slip posted.
3) He decided to not accept the money prize from dynoflash. he said that he is all set with money and the only reason he is doing the passes is for himself and to show what his car can do. he is just happy to finally have the car running like it should and he is very excited about the new times.
4) everything from now on will be between Al and Kevin. it is also up to Al to decide if he wants to keep the competition going or end it right now. Kevin said that as far as he is concerned, the prize is still up for grabs.
