My buddy is getting rid of his car and asked if I wanted his cams. I have 264's and he has 272's. I'm wondering if it would be okay to put them in with the tune for the 264's for the time being. I have a custom tune now and would like another, but Al is in Chicago tomorow and I won't have them in by then.

With me having a custom tune, don't I have a free mail in flash I can use?

 

I'm not sure if I want to go straight 272's or the combo. What is the combo people are doing between these cams?

I figure I'll make my final decision before next week. I'm gonna do a little more research and figure which setup will fill my needs better. I like low end torque that i have now with these cam and I'm not sure if the 272's are the same.

Does anyone know if I do have a free upgrade with a custom flash?

You can run them - the difference between them is so slight its well within the saftey margin built into the flash

Before going straight 272's take a look at the GSC combo 272 intake, 264 exhaust. I think you will like the findings.

I too am contemplating between straight 272s or the GSC 272/264 combo.

GSC's aren't available. I've got cams available to me now for a cheaper price. I could always go and do the same combo just with the HKS. I'll have both of them available to me.

One more question Al. When you tuned my car, youput the stock idke flash in cause you said my car idled like crap. Will this flash help the idle with the 272's in it or not?
