a/f question......

al, just had a question about a/f. question is, if i upgrade to the buschur deluxe fmic kit, uicp, and ported intake manifold. do you think it would benefit me going with 680cc injectors? of course, i'd need u to custom tune the car but do you think the injectors are necessary or not?

mods currently:
gsc 272's
walbro 255
3" tbe
k&n drop in
dynoflash ttm tuned @22psi 93oct

There a lot of misinformation going around, dont worry. There are people running 385+whp on the stock turbo on stock injectors and its fine. Upgrading injectors is wise if you plan on upgrading the turbo in the future but otherwise, you do not need them with the stock turbo no matter how many mods you throw at it, except maybe nitrous! lol

Not even with nitrous. I'm spraying with stock injectors and I'm still running pig rich, I'm thinking of getting a smaller fuel jet.
I don't know how people could max out the stock injectors with the stock turbo.

Hey ?
Didnt Al say in one of your threads that you could use some 680's b/c yours were "100% maxed out" ?
btw after seeing your dynograph I now have a rare disorder called "dyno-envy"

hmm, I'm at 92% duty with my mods. But planning on bigger turbo later so I'm going bigger injectors anyway.

Haha thats funny man. On a serious note, yes Im 100% maxed out but I am on pump gas at 378whp.

People have gone with stock injectors at higher whp because they are running race gas (which you can inherently run leaner with) or theyre using alcohol injections which serves as a fuel as well.

Hey Al, I have your flash, but when I spray the a/f ratio goes off the charts on the rich side, is it ok to go ahead and get a smaller fuel jet. Or would your program cause the ECU to dump more fuel because its running leaner?
Let me know, thanks man.
