Thumbs up Pink thing

Al and Pruven recently sold me/installed a new front motor mount [pink].

This pink thing is an incredible upgrade for a "Spirited" driver.
Shifting is smoothe (smoothe eludes to fast), engine feel is optimized, motor-play feels reduced.

For just 50 bucks, this is a great upgrade - Many of you are buying Stiffy's now - You may opt to keep you $170 after trying this $50 part - Call Al, and order the pink thing!

On another note, Pruven installed an alky kit last night on my 05MR. I left well after hours because some of the parts supplied in the kit were defective and I had an issue with driveability that was not refelected on the dyno. Both Al (for tuning) and Pruven put the effort in to get me the reults I was looking for . They could have sent me away and requested I come back tomorrow, but they stayed until the job was done, and done right.

On my drive home, I thought the new found torque was great, shifting was smoothe and fast and we should all be so fortunate to have a shop that cares.

Pruven/Al - thank you.

It's about a 45min job. Take your local shops hourly rate*.75 (+50). Driving again this AM, my impressions were the car has improved positive feedback and incredibly smoothe shifting.

What brand is the motor mount? I did my Forge/Powerflex motor mount last night, and I agree that it's about the best $50 you can spend on an Evo. Mine is purple...you sure yours is pink?

Bubble gum pink - I forget the brand (it was a late night). Is it possibly RalliArt?
Al, can you comment?

I wish they sell those with the steel mount part. It seems painful to remove that stock bushing. Also, you can swap it back if you get tired of vibrations you feel.

yeah - I'm sensitive to negative vibration... wheels are always balanced, etc... But this feedback is great.. And I live in Manhattan, so I hit some nasty potholes already.

Yep - press needed (15 mins). Besides that, rather simple (30 mins).

Anyone know if you can "rent" a press from Auto Zone? Or is it one of those inexpensive tools that's cheaper to just buy?
