Its like $60.00 through Aloha airlines or you can get a 3 or 4 layover in Maui on your way back to the mainland...

Mauibuilt coordinate with Al he can maybe make a stop in Maui before heading back, mainland flights usually stop there anyways.

I am booking my Flight now

I would like to ask how many IX's we have and how many 8's we have ?

Also - lets start decideing about location

I need a place that has easy access to a free way of highway with minimal traffic on Saturdays - somewhere where people are zipping along at 65 mph all day - (if there is such a place there )? Lets have some discussion

Al,
You are flying into the Island of Oahu at the Honolulu airport.
I am the only IX you are going to be doing.
Give us a couple of days to try and figure out the best place for the tune.
Had a question asked on our local forum, can you tune a DSM with a DSMLINK?

Thanks

Looks like you are headed to the western portion of the H-1. Anywhere else and the on/off ramps are too far apart or crowded.

Man am I glad I left that place.

Yes - I am familiar with the DSM LINK - I am competant to tune it although I am not a DSM specialist to the extent that I am a Evo specialist

As you are the only Evo IX to be tuned - yours will take 3 hours and the rest 2

What timne of day would you prefer ? I will be working 10 - 10 Sat and Sunday

Also - if posisble I would appreciate the opportunity to explore the car scene in HI to the extent that time allows

Perhaps there is some material for a magazine article ?

This is what I have so far:
sat 25 feb
10-12 jlperez3 (jorge) DEPOSIT PAID
12-2 hawaiievo (drew) DEPOSIT PAID
2-4 Turboduction (marc) DEPOSIT PAID
4-7 AlohaEvo (dylan) DEPOSIT PAID
7-9 lanevo (Joe) DEPOSIT PAID

sun 26
10-12 EVO808 (james) DEPOSIT PAID
12-2 Burningmoney97 (jake)
2-4 scottsmith (scott)
4-6 open
6-8 open
8-10 open

If you have anything different as far as who has paid, let me know.

If the spot that I'm thinking about is the one that we use, on Saturday the track is open racing and we will be right up the road from it. It's open from 7-midnight. So that would be something you might want to check out. As far as the rest of the scene, not too sure what you are looking for, but considering the size of the island, there is a lot going on out here. How long are you staying? I'm sure we can get something going too if you wanted to try and get some of the nicer cars out to see them.
Here is a local ezine http://www.speedhawaii.com and an all around forum that http://www.forumshawaii.net/
There are quite a few shops out here too, not sure if that's something you would want to checkout though.
