Adding Alky w/o Re-Tune?

So, after an AWESOME Dynoflash on my modded '03 (cams, FMIC, fuel pump, injectors, WR turbo, 10.5, 02 housing, 3"TBE) the next step seems to be alky.

What needs to be refined about the tune. And what are the possible consequences if I don't get it re-tuned - at least anytime soon???

Thanks!

You need to remove some fuel to compensate for the "extra injector," turn up the boost, and adjust your timing maps. I would personally take it Martin at AMS, seeing you are from Illinois. He did a great job with my car, despite the boost leak, and some MAP sensor issues, very professional.
Some sort of standalone or piggyback system will be required, maybe even with a reflash? AMS can take care of that for you as well. On top of your current flash, you will run super rich, at current boost levels. However, if you decide to just start turning up the boost yourself, a wideband is a good start!

Absolutely no consequences on my car when I installed the alky, in fact it ran faster than before. No problems of any kind, I thought my car was going to smoke black smoke but I was surprise that the SMC works extremely smooth on the engine, you would not notice that the car is spraying other than feeling the car faster.

I'm hearing I could do the install and it would be harmless - may even notice a benefit w/o tune. And then I could do the tune later either w/piggyback or reflash by the vendor.

Thanks!

You can probably run it temporary without retune with water only. I wouldn't turn the boost up either.
