No sweat on the boost hose - what are your mods on the car now >? Thanks Al - will move your time slot now
3'' TBE. and that's it... with the hose and ecu able to hold boost i'm excited that I won't have to mess with a MBC and I can still look for some good numbers.. I saw that IX MR putting down 340 or something with similar stuff

With the TBE and looking for numbers I would really advise that you get the MBC

The boost hose is mostly for people with 100% stock cars who just want a flash - period

The MBC gives you a lot more flexability and a better boost curve and more power

With a TBE it becomes VERY VERY difficult to properly control the boost through the factory ecu - I can do it it the reults are always less ideal than with a nice $80 forge unos mbc

Food for thought

Bro - the cams is no problem as we are at top speed - a very good install facility

As long as you can arrive by say 11 am I can arrange to have your cams installed and tuned by end of day

Will the stock clutch hold the HKS 264 + tune?

It is really hard to give you a good answer to this

I have tuned 500 whp cars on the stock clutch - it really comes down to how you drive it and how much meat is left

ahhhh ****...I'm not sure if I want to put an MBC on this car.. That's why I wanted to stick with the more "factory" way if I could. We'll see though. I wasn't exactly looking to put the same numbers down as the MR but I can still expect good numbers no?

Guys , I have both mail flash and custom tunning and I highly recommned you guys sign up. This is indeed the best mod you can do for your car, if you think that just the bolt on are enough you still need the fine tunning in order to run safe and strong.

I am very happy with Dynoflash services. This is perhaps the best way to sucessfully spend money on your car getting great results back..

Al, Since this will be at a dyno shop I assume it will be dyno tune instead of road tune.

Will we get a dyno sheet showing HP?

Thanks

No, don't assume that. It's only a dyno tune if you specifically request one. The normal tune is a road tune, which Al prefers. Remember that Dynojets do not accurately mimic the road, because they are not load-bearing, however you can still choose that route if it is preferred.

Herbal, please notice the schedule as it shows that Al will be dyno tuning from 10am to 8pm on Saturday. I don't know when he'd have time to install cams in the middle of the tuning. He may have been referring to arranging that TopSpeed does them for you while he's tuning, then he tunes you after the fact.
