Does a normal/custum dyno flash get better mpg (gas mileage) or lower gas mileage ?

My set up is pretty much just bolt on (turbo-back) and suspensions. I pretty much drive this car every day. Just kinda curious, cause i heard the stock evo is running rich.

if you are running TBE, then the tune will help lean your car out and give you better gas mileage. Youre running very rich right now


consider boost conrol and intake before your tune

 

+1 you will get better mileage but nothing rediculous maybe 20-30 more miles per tank. Also consider a high flow cat or test pipe if you dont already have 1

 

When I drove like a grandma, I noticed I picked up about 25 more miles to the tank compared to when I wasn't Dynoflashed driving the same. Most of the time though its worse because of my lead foot!

 

I noticed a little better gas mileage but nothing more than 2-3 MPG and thats when I wasnt in boost for most of time.

 

Mine seems to have gotten better after the flash. On the way home (freeway driving) we got 300 miles to the light coming on. That is by far the best yet. On the way up pre-flashed, we got about 240 or so.
