Important: Will I need a reflash?

I have a 2005 Evo with a Catback, MBC @ 22psi, & Flash by Al.

I can't remember the AFR when I got it dyno'd but it was very straight all the way through and the guy from Japtrix in Florida said it was fine, and perfectly safe.

Tommorow I am installing a new turbo manifold, o2 housing, new downpipe, and new testpipe.

Should I need a reflash since this is just basically exhaust work, and im not changing the cams, injectors, or anything drastic?

I'm being really cautious because with my 03 I had lots of problems, and the motor blew.

you wouldn't need a flash right away, but to get the best gains, with a flash I'd say you can get another good 15-20 whp so I'd say go with one 8- ) Only 99 bucks for reflashes 8- )

Dude, you're asking this in the Dynoflash forum, and he's in CT. Isn't that right next to you? There's less than 10 Evo flash tuners in the country - it's not like they are around every corner. You also don't have to be located near one, because you can always mail in your ECU to get flashed. It's best, though, to drive down to CT and get custom tuned by Dynoflash, so give him a call.

Go to the website at www.Dynoflash.com

"Dynoflash" is a "tuner" named Al freidman. He uses a techrom and or ECUTEC system to flash or upload a new or modified parameters to your ECU.

KTR is in Ayer MA and they have an AWD dyno an ECUTEC and an excellent tuner. Check out northeast regional forum for others in the area.
