There is a huge SNOW Storm in the NY area TODAY it is supposed to clear out by tommorrow

I have a 230 pm flight to Denver

I am assuming due to recent experience with the Air Traffic Control that my flight is subject to cancelation at someone's whim and that all the remaining flights will already be booked solid due to today's cancelations

My plan is to stay at the airport and do what ever I have to do to get to Denver - this may mean that I may be a day or two delayed IF MY FLIGHT IS CANCELED

I will stay all week if needed and do everyone in the evenings - what ever it takes to get everyone done

All those in Denver - please check the Denver tuning thread tommorrow to see if I make it out that way on a plane tomorrow and IF we have to re-scheule any of the Saturday tunes

I am keeping my fingers crossed - but after been screwed by the airlines three weeks ago with the SC trip I am not loving them

Ecspecially for me because i cant get tuned during the week. I have work in utah.

 

If Al is delayed but still able to fly in on Saturday, then you can keep your timeslot, but we'll move everyone else around. Stay tuned to developments all day tomorrow and into Sat morning...

I was frankly shocked three weeks ago when I presented myself at the airport on a nice sundy day and found 1/3 of the flights had been canceled by ATC due to "wind"

Anyway - all the snow is now ending at this hour and the forecast for tomorrow is clear

However they forecast gusty winds 15 - 30 mph - I have decided that air travel sucks

Good, i got my leave approved and will be there for sure.. I am leaving in the morning.

 

As of right now the flight is on time and airport appears to be operational so I am leaving for the airport - will update from the gate

 

hope everything works out, im flying in from New Mexico today. if people need to be rescheduled to monday or tuesday, i might be in because i had a couple of problems with the install of my turbo kit. hopefully street concepts can find what i need today and complete the install, if not then the soonest i can get parts in from out of state will be monday. no matter what, im still going to be in on the tune. thank god i checked evom this morning before i take off, as i was not going to take my laptop with me, but now it seems like it would be a good idea.

 

Ok guys I am sitting in my favorite seat 5 D as the plane is loading and everyone is bumping into my arm as I am typing

It seems all is a green light for me to arrive this evening as arranged

Thank god fo rthe airport crew who removed all the snow
