Anybody got any news on the March 25th-26th trip to south of the border.. I know we finalized the schedule a couple weeks ago but haven't heard anything since... Don't want us NC and SC guys to get hung out to dry. How many of you guys are rushing to get parts and get them installed before the tune.. I know I am praying my tbe exhaust gets here on time.. Of course it got back-ordered and im tryin to decide if i should put a mbc on for the tune.... even though i will replace it for a blitz sbc later.

 

I know Im sweatin to get my cams in

Hopefully the install goes smooth this weekend and I dont blow my motor up

By the way, any more tips/tricks for a cam install would be much appreciated and feel free to PM me if you wanna help

 

Yeah ui would be down to help.. Relax its not as complicated as you think... I have never put em in a evo.. But i did put 264/272 in a 97 talon awd so it cant be THAT muc more complicated. My grand parents live in fay.. im surprised i haven't seen your car around.. I saw a chick drivin a yellow one and i wanted to get married haha

 

Hope nothing happens to mess up this trip. Al said he'd be here even if he had to drive a Kia backwards all the way.
My RS is parked until the drive up to South of the Border. I got the 20g-9 and supporting goodies installed but I don't want to drive it until it's tuned. I don't trust my right foot to behave itself with all that shiny new stuff under the hood.

 

Hell yeah.. I am just soo worried some old bullsshhhtt is gonna happen... I just put a hks rs on and my new helix ver 2 tbe, perrin uicp and my a-pillar gauges and it is sssooooo tempting to drive.. but i washed and washed and waxed and waxed.. then put it in the garage with the california car cover on it hahaha.. I jsut hope everything goes smoothly

 

And my *** has a IX which means i get to go at 8-11 on a sat night.... yaahh o well i will just get drunk when i get back... the ride home on I-95 is gona be crazy.. yup im gonna get a ticket
