Well, you don't send deposits for base flashes. The deposits are only for custom tunes. Al doesn't make trips on 5 base flashes; he only comes when he has 5 confirmed custom tunes. 5 base flashes wouldn't even pay for the travel costs.

 

I went back and read and i does say "five deposites for Tunes".....what about trading my spot from saturday to sunday? same time, but different day......

The thing you quoted doesn't specify custom flashes, because it's the same for every trip and has been for 2 years - you don't send deposits for base flashes, just custom tunes. The only caveat to this is that IX base flashes require a deposit and timeslot because of how long they take - they also cost more than VIII base flashes.

Well, he usually has no extra time during tuning weekends, so you will have to work that out with him. If the timeslots don't fill, then you can probably show up during one of them to have him take a look.
