Hmm, well I don't include the filter for a reason, but since you got it, then I recommend NOT INSTALLING IT until you get tuned. Are you for sure going for a custom tune? If so, then slap it on right before your custom tune. If you do the mail-in tune, do the same thing...install it right before the ECU comes back, but you have to make sure he knows you're adding the intake to the package, because the flashes are based on my exact mods, which doesn't include an intake. As for the fuel pump, we've found them not to be needed on the IX, but if you feel safer with one, then go ahead and get it from BR but don't install until just before the tune just like the intake. However, be sure that Al (Dynoflash) knows that you have these extra parts whenever you get your flash.

There's no stage 2 yet only because there aren't cams available, but that will change soon, so stay tuned. We will be hooking you boys up for sure...

Package

Thanks, I am going to get the mail in flash for now, but defintely want to upgrade to the custome tune later. With a custom tune are there any gains with the filter and maf kit or should I just get a drop in filter.

Minimal gains with a filter, and I do not recommend the maf pipe. You would do fine with just a drop-in filter and wouldn't need a retune.

Just make sure that when you do the mail-in that you include any extra mods in the note with the ECU. So, if you get the Buschur intake and install it, be sure al knows to flash you for it, otherwise the tune will be off. If you don't install the intake, then just say that you need the Warrtalon IX flash.

Uh just check out my results. I have an intake, MBC, and turboback exhaust. With a dynoflash custom road tune. 12.1 @ 113 at 23psi. Wait till I turn up the boost with some good old 100oct.
