CAR SPUTTERING THRU 3rd, any ideas?

I just got flashed this past Sunday. Everything was fine and dandy. The car felt good and was running strong throughout the tune and afterward when i test drove it.
Halfway home from where I got tuned I pass through a toll. on my way out i decide im gonna see what she's got. So i put her in 3rd and step on it when suddenly somewhere around 4k the car starts sputtering out the exhaust. I get off the gas and then go again to see whats up....same result. I throw it in 4th and try a pull from there....same result.
Next day i test it out again and come to realize that for the first half hour of driving the car is great, but then after some time passes and i get on the gas the sputtering comes back.
originally, i thought maybe the spark plugs but i am just very unsure right now and even though they are only 30 bucks id rather know for sure that's the problem before i go get them. It just seems strange that it only begins to happen after a little while of driving.... any help on this issue would much appreciated...peace

I would do the spark plug change first for sure sounds like an ignition issue

That is an easy diagnosis

Yes, and don't spend $30 on plugs - spend $7. Get the NGK BPR7ES plugs from Advanced Auto (part # 2023), gap them to .026, then slap them in. This sounds exactly like a spark issue, because when they foul or are not gapped for strong boost, they sputter just as you hit full boost (like what you're experiencing).

Yup sounds like a simple Plug and/or wire issue. Just like warrtalon said. Get the NGks Best for the money.
