VIII base flashes only take 10mins and can be done without an appointment, so just show up whenever you have time. The timeslots are flexible. IXs and VIIIs can go on either day, so don't worry about the current timeslot layout. I can change around the timeslots no problem. By the way, there will be no 2-step additions to existing flashes, but all new flashes (or reflashes) include the launch control. It is complicated and there won't be time for it amidst all the other scheduled tuning.

So basically the custom tunes are all two hours long now. How long does the base flash take now? Mine's listed at 4p but with a slot open directly after mine. Just making sure.

BTW, sending the remaining $150 via paypal to pay off my base flash in full ahead of time.

Silex, with the new software from TechTom, it no longer takes 18 minutes to flash the ECU. Custom IX flashes will get 2 hours and Base IX flashes will take 15 minutes including the hookup time and test drive.

Thanks Warrtalon for the info. I have a small request. Since I'm just getting a base flash, can I please "change" my time to right before pog0 @ 10a (say 9:45a)? The reason I say this is that me, him and one other guy is riding up together and I don't want to wait 6+ hours before my base flash if it can be helped. I'll PM Al as well to make sure this is ok.

BTW, paypal for final $150 sent so please verify that for me and change my status. Thanks!

Al doesn't start until 10am. You'd have to discuss it with him.

I hope Al is only half joking since I'm sure 15min is hardly a dent in your sleeping schedule . I appreciate it though as I have to be somewhere later that day.

Personally, I want to see the powerband difference between my base flash to pog0's and your custom tunes. I have a PLX R-500 with g-sensor so I can run a real-time dyno so at the very least, we might be able to see how mine performs, hehe.

Sirloin, if you're doing a base flash, you can show up Friday right before 9pm or just after Rob's tune. It only takes a few mins.

Silex, he's not joking. He sets the time at 10am and usually gets there about 10:30!!
