Reflash Vs. Dealer

when getting a reflash done, let say you take your car into the dealer for some problem and they detect that you had a reflash done. besides voiding your warranty, could they reflash it back to stock?

It's "improbable" that they will know about the flash unless YOU tell them. And YES they can flash it back to stock. :}

I have never seen a situation where a dealer "found" a flash in a car in for normal service

Frankly, they have better things to do and are too busy trying to fix the cars they have to repair

I have over 2000 of these flashes out there and no dealer has ever identified a flash

IF you have other mods on your car - boost controller, exhuast, intake, etc, etc having a flahs really becomes irrelavant unless you remove all these mods before your car goes in for warranty

if you have a MAJOR warranty concern (eg. blown transmission) - it MAY be prudent to send in the ecu to be flashed back to stock before you submit the car for repair
