Also - any indication on how many more we may have or will it just be the 5? I need to figure out how much dyno time to reserve and also figure out how many days to stay

Al
After we have the local meets I'm sure more people will end up wanting to get tuned. I will see on Thursday if some others want to sign up.

Its up to AL how long he wants to stay. If only five people have deposits down and the rest haven't put any cash up. Wouldn't want to count on them the weekend of the tuning. Just went through all of this with a WRX group. Had about 12-15 down and over half dissapeared and didn't show. Those that did get tuned were done really well. Nobody was rushed. But the flash tuner was a little dissapointed. But he will be back, was pleased with the whole setup.
If AL only has five he might only want to do them Saturday, maybe one Friday night. Then be home for Mothers's day. You Vegas EVO guys need to speak up. The time to get flashed and tuned is THAT weekend. And the first guy who crys a week after AL is here and says gee I wish I had got it done. I'm going to say what? HAHA.
Be nice to get a solid ten EVO's done. Get them tuned right for the altitude and conditions here in Vegas, not CA, not AZ.
thanks guys.

If its a Sat only set up I would have to go Friday night, as I have family Graduating from UNLV on sat and my whole day is pretty much booked.

I just boooked my plane ticket - very costly with short notice but the main thing is I am headed that way

We need to organize this

The dyno shop is charging $150 extra per car for the two hours of dyno time - this will be on top of my normal fees

I actually prefer road tuning and you can take your car to a dyno or track anytime if you want to see how much power you are really making. There is no substitute for actual driving on the road with the data logging recording to find the true and actual knock threshold and make the car razor smooth.

I am very willing to tune anyone who wants on the dyno

OR we can road tune your car and then put it on the dyno for a couple of quick power pulls - (Not sure what that would cost)

Or we can just road tune your car and you can enjoy having a fast evo and save the bragging for the track

I need to know right away out of the 5 guys signed up who wants to be tuned on the dyno and who wants the road

Prices are

Tuning :

Custom Tuning 2 hours per car on highway - full data logging and custom tuning

8 - New customer $375 - existing customer $300

9 - New customer $450 - existing customer $350

Base Flashes IX or 8 - $175 on location (no tuning)

Dyno Time $150 for 2 hours to custom tune car - payable to Doug

I will be available to do at least one road tune Friday night and all day Sat

I fly back Sunday

After we see who wants road tune vs dyno tuen we can set the times

PS - VERY IMPORTANT - everyone with a 8 ONLY - PLEASE see Dough before I come to get a pressurized boost leak test - I want all of these cars to come out 100% perfectly. My plan is to make sure that everyone atteneding is going to get some of the best tunes I have ever created.

Once we have a final head count I can plan the time frames which may go over 2 hours per car if time allows

I want to be road tuned, but I do want to run on the dyno for a few quick runs. I will wait to see how much Doug wants for that. I am ready Saturday around noon. I will be paying you in full via paypal before you come. My email is cweisbach@***.net

If everyone wants to do road tunes, thats fine. Will save everyone money. Since there are so few cars to do. Looks like AL has the schedule worked out to get all you guys done Friday night and all day Saturday. I might take off the whole weekend and go see my mother.

Al I want both road and dyno tune

What do you think is the best way to go about it? dyno first then road or the other way? what ever you think is best is cool with me.

Also very important... can I please be your Friday appointment as I have **** going on all day sat and your heading home on sunday.

so you're saying no dyno even on Saturday? I want at least one hour of time if I can get it.

Hah, you can't do a dyno AND road tune. That wouldn't make sense unless you pay for 2 slots. Going on and off the dyno takes time.

How about a hour of each or 1 1/2 of one and 1/2 of the other?? Why would that be so hard? Especially if Im the only person going on Friday night? worst case I'll throw in a extra $100
