I went to infineon tonght, but actually started in the afternoon. I ran a 1.837 6oft. with a 13.88 stock on cali crap gas the first time there back in Nov. Is this a good time after the dynoflash (basemap, not custom)I ran 1.823 with a 13.53 and buschur turbo back. I guess I need the MBC and 12's will be close? The boost still tapers, should a MBC help? Also, the car I went against the last 2 rounds was an 06 STi, he went 14.6 and then 14.1@94mph(with a 1.85 6oft.), I whoopped him both rounds but lost due to dial in time.
Thanks and I hate cai gas.

It doesn't sound good, and the gas doesn't normally hold you back in stock or near-stock form, since you're not at the knock threshold or running high boost, but if other cars are very slow, then you can only worry about how you do relative to others. Up here at 6000' in Colorado, your time would be very good for your mods and lack of experience. I'm not sure how bad it is at Infineon.
Also, the boost ALWAYS tapers on the stock turbo. It is unavoidable - all you can do is minimize it. MBCs do that, but so do boost-controlling flashes.

Thanks Warrtalon. The track must be slow because other evos with mods where running pretty slow. One vishnu stage 1++ was running high 12's and he couldnt understand why. There were a few new vettes running low 13's and they werent able to hit 12's either.
Yeah, man, then don't worry a thing about anyone else in the country. Just worry about how you do relative to others at your track. For example, with all my mods, I'm only able to run 12.30 up here and that's in nice, cool 55-degree weather...that's also with superb shifting and a pretty good launch.
Another Evo with all my same mods ran 13.0@105, and then one with all the basic bolt-ons and pump gas did a 15.5, then 14.8. That's how bad it can get at altitude, and it sounds like it's bad where you are, too, so don't sweat it. Just work on that 60' and nail the shifts.

What is a good 60 ft anyway. I have an Act clutch with a street disc, but I am just curious what I should be at? Also, this is the first time I have used launch control and I havent switched back to my advans, so I am still running winter tires.
Nah, bluebanana's joking. You should start by putting on your Advans...it's May. Then, you should shoot for low 1.7s 60's. If you can nail a 1.6, that will be awesome, but just make your goal to be 1.75 or better.
