John, are you getting a CEL?

 

Not going to speak for him, but UR test pipes don't throw CEL's. Have one personally and no CEL to date! It has a built in mechanical fix.

 

Yea thas why im wondering. i have a mechanical o2 fix that i bought seperatley for my a-spec test pipe but not sure if it will throw a light or not.

john, you running a full turboback? or just a catback?

 

I am wondering if the Intake is needed or if the Fuel Pump is needed?

I also wonder if an Ebay 02 housing would help out as well.

 

^^^ the intake wont make too much of a difference in POWER. Maybe ~5hp and the Fuel pump isn't neccessary on an Evo9 at that boost level on pump gas. The ebay 02 would make a difference -noticeably i'd say 10-15whp. Manifold if you're lucky at that boost level on stock turbo i'd say ~5-10 as well and mayyyyybe help spool very little.

question for you, why doesn't the evo9 need the fuel pump upgrade like recommended for the evo8?

 

i think the ix has a higher flowing fuel pump than the viii's do, but i got the walbro anyway as cheap insurance, and i knew i would be needing it for future mods.

I dont think anyone will tune the car without an upgraded fuel pump anymore anyway

 

I highly doubt that with the UR test pipe.
