Hello I recently found out that my evo has had a flash done by dynoflash. I also learned that my car has a walbro 255 pump in it. My question is, is there a way to tell how you flashed the ecu in my car? For example can you tell me what mods you flashed it for? Thanks

 

Not unless you know the previous owner's name maybe.

However, if you get the $90 flashing cable from tactrix.com and download the free software from openecu.org, then you will be able to download the ROM from your ECU to see how it's tuned.

 

Yea, i was going to try that but I don't know any of differences in the maps to decipher the different characteristics between them....I think the previous owners name is Doug Baker '04 Evo from Minnesota...I could prolly have my local shop download with the cable and tell me the style of map that is in there; I was just trying to do some more stuff myself.

 

I wasn't saying you'd look at the map. I'm saying you could get the map and have Al look at it, since it's one of his tunes. Since you have the name, though, you should send that to Al and see if he has that guy's name or tune in his records.
