Exactly what you said...one is a mail-in (not custom tuned) and one is custom tuned by driving the car. One is a best guess and one is custom made over 2 hours inside the car.

BigLevo and Nad, you two are being taken care of - stay tuned for a preferable time, because I don't know when that will be yet.

I think I'l just show up on the 29th for a base mail in flash. I have a couple ?'s though:
-Is it still at the same location?
- I want to be able to flash back to stock map..will you have tactrix cables with you for sale? I'l have to save my stock map on my computer first right?
- I have a testpipe and catback right now...I probably won't be able to get a hold of a downpipe and mbc by the 29th; I shouldn't need a retune once I install those right?

Check the July F/S thread in the Midwest region.

I believe evom member Integxx has a Helix down pipe and member M3ss has a BC f/s.
Their both local in Chicago.

Yes, Al always has Tactrix cables with him for sale. He will provide you with both the stock map and tuned map. You won't need a retune for the DP.

Speedfreak, actually, $150 is not much at all if you are familiar with tuning prices. This is the cheapest custom tune you will EVER FIND, and it has very little to do with how much WHP you'll gain and everything to do with having your car 100% custom tuned for what it has and what it does. A base flash is just a best guess at your mod combo without any knowledge of how well it runs, but a custom tune will be perfectly customized for you and your car. $300 is a ridiculously low price - it costs more than double that at most places.

I'll know the location by tonight...

Yeah if you don't have your TBE by the tuning date, then get a base flash. If you can borrow a similar TBE for the tune, then it's probably worth getting the custom tune.
